for women and has Temples throughout the United States and Canada with more than 37,000 members. Admission to this group is also open to women related to another Daughter of the Nile. They usually contribute more than one 1 million dollars annually to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. They also support 148 Daughters of the Nile Organizations in the United States and Canada. They volunteer to provide garments, quilts and other items needed by charities, and these items are made by members of the organisation.
These two organisations cannot really be considered as Masonic since their membership does not involve a personal Masonic Initiation but only to a close family relationship with a Freemason.
